This Notice is part of the Research and Innovation Program entitled “SEcurity and RIghts in the Cyber ​​Space (SERICS)” – topic 7. Cybersecurity, new technologies and protection of rights, identification code PE00000014, M4C2 Investment 1.3, marked from the identification code PE0000014, admitted to financing under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan PNRR by the MUR Decree nr. 1556 of 11.10.2022. The SERICS project is divided into 10 Spokes within which the University of Milan is the Implementer of Spoke 10 "Governance and data protection". Spoke 10 activities are organized in the “Data Governance and Protection (DGDP)” project

Who is it aimed at?

The subjects eligible to submit project proposals in response to this Notice are exclusively: – State Universities, – non-State Universities legally recognized and accredited by MUR, – Public Research Bodies (EPR) supervised by MUR.

What does it predict

The following projects are considered eligible for the Call: a) "Fundamental Research": experimental or theoretical work carried out above all to acquire new knowledge on the foundations of observable phenomena and facts without direct commercial applications or uses being envisaged. The project proposals must also guarantee: - The request for funding of no less than Euro 2,300,000.00 and in any case the overall absorption of the financial allocation intended for the Southern Regions equal to Euro 383,909.83; - The development of all the topics foreseen in WP4 "Integration with emerging data management technologies and models"
