This Notice supports proposals relating to activities that envisage reaching a level of technological maturity TRL > 3. It therefore represents support, starting from the first research phases, mainly referring to the development/implementation of technologies with extremely advanced content, including conceptual verification and prototypes for technology validation, demonstration activities for pilot projects and feasibility studies also in order to evaluate high potential activities. 

Who is it aimed at?

The subjects eligible to present project proposals - Proposers - in response to this call, in single or collaborative mode (up to 3 units), must be subjects external to the Heal Italia Partnership and can be: Scientific Hospitalization and Treatment Institutes (IRCCS); Universities and bodies supervised by the MUR; Research organizations registered in the National Research Registry (ANR); Public and private foundations, registered with the ANR, with recognition of the legal person and a statute in which the carrying out of Research & Innovation activities is indicated among the fundamental objectives. 

What does it predict

Funding applications submitted in a collaborative manner must provide for a division of activities and budget such as to respect the assignment of at least 75% of the subsidy attributable to partners based in southern Italy and no more than 25% of the subsidy attributable to partners based in northern/central Italy. Financing applications submitted individually may only be received from proponents with operational headquarters for the intervention in the South, so that the requirement is respected. The reference topics are:1. Technological platforms for the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials.2. Genome editing through nanostructured delivery systems for personalized medicine.3. Bioprinting technologies for precision diagnosis and therapies
