The notice aims to finance research, development and technological innovation projects in the "Green Powered Future" (GPFM) and "Clean Hydrogen" (CHM) Mission Innovation 2.0 missions. The selected projects will have to contribute to the integration of renewable energies in the energy system, to the improvement of the production of green hydrogen and the development of innovative solutions for the energy sector.

Who is it aimed at?

It can present a project proposal, through a leader company, a design team made up of at least two partners between companies (including innovative startups) and/or organisms for research and dissemination of knowledge, in accordance with articles 4 and 5 of this notice.

What does it predict

The intensity of the contribution for each beneficiary does not exceed:

a) 50 % of the eligible costs for industrial research (re);

b) 25 % of the eligible costs for experimental development (SS);

c) 50 % of the eligible costs for feasibility studies (SF).

The intensity of contribution for industrial research and experimental development can be increased, up to a maximum intensity of 80% of the eligible costs, as follows:

a) of 10 percentage points for medium -sized enterprises and 20 percentage points for small businesses

b) of 15 percentage points as long as one of the following conditions uses:

The project provides for the actual collaboration between a company and one or more research and diffusion of knowledge of knowledge, within which these bodies support at least 10% of the eligible costs and have the right to publish the results of their research;

The results of the project are widely disseminated through conferences, publications, free access or open source or free software databases, without prejudice to the rights of privative.

Partnerships can participate with a leader company and at least two partners (companies or research bodies) with operational headquarters in Italy.

Support projects to produce renewable fuels, optimize biomass production processes, encourage integration into the current energy system.
What is the overall budget of the biohydrogen call?
The equipment is equal to 52 million euros to finance projects in the strategic bio -hydrogen and biocarbuger area.

Projects must have an admissible cost between 2 and 20 million euros.

Sustainable production of bio -hydrogen, advanced biofuels, enhancement of agricultural waste, new supply chains for renewable energy.
What costs are considered eligible in the announcement?
Costs for staff, equipment, prototypes, materials, technical services, patents, tests, licenses and documented indirect costs.
What is the type of contribution expected?
There is a non -refundable contribution with variable percentages depending on the type of activity and the size of the company.
How do you determine the percentage of the contribution?
Based on the corporate dimension (SME, medium, large), the type of intervention (research or development) and the possible presence of research bodies in the partnership.
How do you apply for the biohydrogen call?
The application is online through the dedicated platform "Bandi Mi", with digital signature and requested documents.
What is the period of presentation of the questions?
Applications can be submitted from 6 May 2025 to 12:00 until June 21, 2025 at 12:00.
How long do the projects have to end?
The projects must be completed by 31 December 2026, except for justified extensions approved by the Ministry.
Are a reward for some categories?
Yes, for projects led by women or young people under 35 and for those with high environmental or innovative impact.
