Things

The Piemonte Film TV Development Fund is part of a complex action to promote and support cinematographic and audiovisual production initiatives, started in 1996 by the Piedmont Region in agreement with the City of Turin and continued starting in 2000 with the birth of the Foundation Film Commission Turin Piedmont. The synergy between the Piedmont Region, the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and the Torino Piedmont Film Commission has led, thanks to the convergence of experiences and skills, to a series of projects activated over the years in favor of various strategic production areas and genres for the promotion of the territory, both from an artistic and cultural point of view, and from the point of view of the professional growth of independent cinema, contributing to the consolidation of the Piedmontese vocation as a laboratory of new authors and new trends, an enterprising and creative territory and a large pool of professionals in the film sector. The Piemonte Film TV Development Fund is aimed at independent production companies with registered or operational headquarters in Piedmont, with the aim of increasing - in accordance with the general EU guidelines - their ability to develop projects that have the potential to circulate in Europe and beyond and to facilitate international co-productions, including with television broadcasters, through financial support dedicated to the development of a single audiovisual work project.
