The Department of Productive Activities of the Sicily Region has approved the Notice of expression of interest for the selection of Sicilian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises interested in participating in the "Arts and Crafts - Vento d'Italia" event for 2024, with the aim of enhancing their competitiveness and enhancing their presence in the Chinese market.
Who is it aimed at?
The notice is addressed to:A) micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, as defined by Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 and subsequent amendments;B) consortia and consortium companies established, including in cooperative form;C ) production districts and networks of legally established and recognized businesses; D) innovative startups, as defined by Legislative Decree no. 179 of 18 October 2012.
What does it predict
The project aims to build an ad hoc narrative for Chinese sensitivity around the product, the experience and its territory. A 3-day digital fair is planned, from 3 to 5 July 2024, with moments of training, meetings and business matching, relating to e-commerce in China, followed by 11 months of permanent e-commerce sales fair on Chinese platforms perfectly integrated within We Chat which is the main Chinese digital ecosystem. Support is expected for around 30 Sicilian MSMEs with the aim of starting/strengthening a path to promote Sicilian excellence on the Chinese market.
