The incentive supports research, development and innovation in five technology sectors: • energy-efficient chips; • power semiconductors; • smart sensors; • advanced optical equipment; • composite materials. The main objective is to develop innovative microelectronic technologies and components that can be transferred to industries, including those in the Automotive and Internet of Things sectors, to generate new or improved applications or for further research and development.
Who is it aimed at?
The following can benefit from the benefits: • companies authorized by the European Commission Decision C(2018) 8864 final of 18 December 2018; • additional entities admitted following expression of interest, notification and subsequent authorization by the European Commission in compliance with the relevant Decision. The tender and the related resources are intended exclusively for companies that have already received the specific decision authorizing the aid from the EC on 18 December 2018. Applications presented by companies that have not already obtained the aforementioned authorization are therefore not eligible.
