The SRD03 intervention "Investments in agricultural companies for diversification into non-agricultural activities", type of action A has the objective of: - promoting employment, growth, gender equality, including the participation of women in agriculture , social inclusion and local development in rural areas, including the circular bioeconomy and sustainable forestry (OS8); - improve market orientation and increase the competitiveness of the agricultural business in the short and long term, also through greater attention to research, technology and digitalisation (OS2)).
Who is it aimed at?
It is aimed at agricultural entrepreneurs pursuant to art. 2135 of the Civil Code, individuals or associations.
What does it predict
The intervention provides support for investments, in the form of a capital contribution, according to the following intensities. It will be equal to: - 50% of the eligible expenditure for interventions placed in Zone D "Rural areas with development problems"; - 45% of the eligible expenditure for interventions placed in Zone C "Intermediate rural areas"; - 40% of the eligible expenditure for interventions in the remaining areas of the regional territory: zone B "Areas with intensive and specialized agriculture" and zone A "Urban and peri-urban areas". Types of interventions eligible for support The following types of intervention relating to investments for the adaptation of agricultural companies in order to create or expand agritourism activities are eligible for support: - recovery, renovation and expansion interventions of existing buildings on the company; - construction of camping pitches and related service infrastructures including electricity, water and sanitary facilities, as well as all necessary systems; - recovery, renovation, expansion and installation of fixed structures for recreational, sporting, cultural, educational and leisure activities ( including swimming pools and fitness trails); - new free-standing buildings to be used exclusively for ancillary services for the agritourism activity, as defined in the implementation criteria of LR no. 4/2009, in compliance with the conditions and limits established by the art. 11 of the same law; - recovery, renovation and expansion interventions of rooms to be used as multipurpose rooms for agritourism activities; - external arrangements serving agritourism buildings (with the exclusion of any agricultural or forestation production plant); - setting up of rooms, dining room, kitchen and ancillary rooms used for the agritourism activity. By set-up we mean the purchase of furniture, fittings and fixed and inventoriable equipment, including those for the preparation, processing and preservation of food; - in the case of Rural Family Hospitality as defined in the art. 16 of LR n. 4/2009, only the recovery of rooms in existing buildings to be used as rooms and related bathrooms for guests is eligible; - general and technical expenses to the maximum extent of 10% of the eligible expenditure indicated above; - purchase of IT equipment and related software for management of the supported activity. The software can be basic or specific for agritourism use.
