The annual economic incentive is part of the interventions for the establishment and permanence intended for companies located in peripheral and disadvantaged areas of Trentino, which offer, in addition to commercial services, further utility services for the resident population that are otherwise unavailable. Who is it aimed at?

The incentive is intended for retail businesses selling food and basic necessities or public services which, alongside their main activity, also provide the ancillary services provided for by the relevant regulations (so-called multi-service activities) useful to the local population, in localities otherwise without commercial services of the same type. Companies in possession of the following requirements can apply: - be registered in the Trento Company Register; - have their registered office and/or local operational unit in the provincial territory; do not have insolvency proceedings in progress. - the turnover of the company the financial year referring to the last financial year closed on the date of submission of the application must not exceed 591,560.00 euros; - the AWU (Annual Work Units) must not exceed 2.5 excluding owners, family collaborators and apprentices; - the sales and/or administration surface area between 50 and 300 m2; - the daily opening hours of at least 3 hours for at least 6 days a week, or 5 days, of which at least one must remain open both in the morning and at afternoon for a total of at least 6 hours divided between morning and afternoon; - do not have gaming machines pursuant to art. 110, paragraph 6, of RD 773/1931 and LP 13/2015; - be located outside historic commercial places. The locality in which the business is located must then meet these requirements: - minimum 100 inhabitants; - without other businesses of the same type; - it is at least 3 km away by road from any other business of the same type, except in the case, previously certified from the competent municipality, in which the other commercial establishment of the same type is located less than 3 km away, but in an isolated position with respect to the town centre; - altitude of at least 500 m, without prejudice to specific and justified situations of isolation or peripherality, previously certified by the competent municipality. 

What does it predict

The incentive provides for a one-off settlement bonus of 29,000.00 euros and an annual incentive of up to 20,000.00 euros for each local operational unit that carries out at least two additional activities (multiservices) among the following in the localities with the requirements established by the regulations :- services provided in agreement with public bodies;- free assistance service for telephone or online booking of specialist medical visits for the benefit of applicants;- free medical report printing service and assistance in accessing the citizen's medical records “Three Cs” for the benefit of applicants; - free delivery point service for medicines sent in a registered envelope from pharmacies operating in neighboring centers; - free center service for the collection and subsequent sending of correspondence in inhabited centers without an office postal service, following a specific agreement with the postal service manager; - payment services (car tax, bulletins, etc.); - free home delivery service of shopping in the location where the local operational unit of the commercial business operates; - ATM service; - sale of fresh and/or frozen, preserved, prepared, packaged meat; - free internet access service via Wi-Fi network that can be used with user-owned peripherals; - free counter parcel collection point service in the presence of dedicated personnel; - telephone top-up service from at least two of the main mobile telephone operators; - resale of daily newspapers and magazines; - free internet browsing service and access to e-mail via a PC workstation, free telefax service and photocopies open to the public; - sale of at least ten references of organic and/or celiac products; - sale of at least ten references of Trentino and/or fair trade products; - bicycle rental service (electric and/or muscle) - free battery charging service for electric bicycles.
