The Veneto Region has launched an important announcement to support the innovation and competitiveness of SMEs through the new "Veneto Fondo Veneto Research, Development and innovation". This tool, part of the FESR 2021-2027 program, offers concrete support to companies that want to invest in research, development and technological innovation.

Who is it aimed at?

SMEs, freelancers and self -employed workers with operational headquarters recipient of the intervention in Veneto. The beneficiaries must meet the additional requirements of the announcement

What does it predict

Lost contribution for a share equal to a maximum of 40% of the total of the concessions granted. Subsidized loan (subsidized loan), for a share at least 60% of the total of the facilities granted in a mixed form, in turn divided into:

  • a public provision, at zero rate, for a share equal to 70% of the subsidized loan;
  • A private provision, made available by the lender at a rate not exceeding the "affiliated rate" for a share equal to 30% of the subsidized loan;

 

Regarding the subsidized loan, the following conditions are applied:

  • maximum reimbursement duration equal to 60 months from the date of payment of the last tranche of subsidized loan including any pre -amortization (excluding the technical one for deadlines);
  • refund period of not less than 18 months from the date of payment of the last tranche of subsidized loan;
  • Reimbursement to trimesterous or poorly postponed half -yearly rates at the end of the end of the solar quarter.

 

If the financier intends to grant a specific prefinance, this must be regulated, according to the provisions of the Convention stipulated with the manager, to a rate not exceeding the "convenient rate". The overall intensity of the concessions granted in a mixed form, expressed in terms of overall esl, must be included within the limits indicated below:

Line "A" - Research and development - Micro and small businesses and professionals/self -employed workers: maximum 45% - Media companies: maximum 35%

“B” line - Innovation - maximum 50% for all beneficiaries

Projects must provide for the following minimum and maximum expenditure maximum amounts:

Line A (Research and Development):

  • Minimum expenditure at least equal to € 100,000.00;
  • Maximum expenditure not exceeding € 250,000.00.

Line B (innovation)

  • Minimum expenditure at least equal to € 50,000.00;
  • Maximum expenditure not exceeding € 150,000.00

Small and medium and medium -sized enterprises can access, in single or associated form, registered in the business register and active in the manufacturing sectors, ICTs and innovative services.

The goal is to support industrial research projects, experimental development and innovation to increase the competitiveness of the SMEs of Veneto in the PR FESR 2021-2027 period.

The concession consists of a mixed financial intervention: altitude at a lost fund and share in capital participation through financial instruments.

The maximum facilitated amount per project is equal to 1,500,000 euros, with a coverage of up to 90% of the total eligible expenses.
What are the expenses eligible from the Veneto Innovation Fund?
Expenses for personnel, consultancy, equipment, materials, licenses, patents, prototypes, tests, and general costs connected to the project are allowed.
What requirements does the beneficiary company have to respect?
The company must be based in Veneto, be active, in compliance with DURC and environmental legislation, not in financial difficulty and in possession of a technical and operational capacity.
What is the deadline for submitting the application?
Applications can be submitted from June 15, 2025 until 15 September 2025, unless advanced for exaggeration funds.
How is the selection of projects?
The selection is at the counter according to the chronological order of arrival, after formal, technical and economic-financial verification of projects.
Is there a minimum investment limit?
Yes, the minimum limit of the admissible investment to access the fund is set at 150,000 euros per project.
What is the maximum duration of the projectable projects?
The projects must end within 24 months from the date of granting of the aid, unless the motivated extended authorized by the manager.
How do you apply for the fund?
The application must be completed online through the IT platform of Veneto Innovation, with digital signature and compulsory attached documentation.
