“Young graduates” (Current fund for the support of the excellence of Italian gastronomy and agri-food) is the incentive that finances apprenticeship contracts between companies and young graduates in food and wine and hotel hospitality services. managed by Invitalia and promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry with the Ministerial Decree of 21 October 2022. The financial allocation is 20 million euros, gross of costs for managing the measure.
Who is it aimed at?
The concessions are aimed at: companies operating in the sector identified by the ATECO code 56.10.11 (Catering with supply) duly established and registered as active in the Companies Register for at least 10 years, or which have purchased - in the 12 months preceding the date of publication of the Ministerial Decree 21 October 2022 - certified products DOP, IGP, SQNPI, SQNZ and organic products for at least 25% of the total food products purchased in the same period companies operating in the sector identified by the ATECO code 56.10.30 (Ice cream shops and pastry shops) and by ATECO code 10.71.20 (Production of fresh pastries) duly established and registered as active in the Business Register for at least 10 years or, alternatively, who have purchased - in the 12 months preceding the date of publication of the Ministerial Decree 21 October 2022 - products DOP, PGI, SQNPI and organic products certified for at least 5% of the total food products purchased in the same period
What does it predict
Each company can obtain a non-repayable contribution not exceeding 30,000 euros, up to covering a maximum of 70% of the total eligible expenses relating to the gross remuneration for the inclusion, with an apprenticeship contract, of one or more young graduates in the services of the food and wine and hotel hospitality. Apprenticeship contracts must have a minimum duration of one year and a maximum of three years and must be stipulated, under penalty of forfeiture of the benefits, after the date of publication of the Ministerial Decree of 21 October 2022 and no later than 60 days from the date of publication of the decree granting of benefits. Young graduates must be in possession of the following requirements: upper secondary education diploma obtained no more than five years ago at a State professional institute for food and wine and hotel hospitality (IPSEOA) not having completed, on the date of signing the contract of apprenticeship, 30 years of age. Expenses incurred before submitting the grant application are not eligible. The contributions are granted under the de minimis regulation (General EU Reg. 2831/23, SGEI EU Reg. 2832/23).
