Things

Loan guarantees for SMEs and small mid-cap companies. Article 15-bis of Legislative Decree 145/2023 introduces rules partially derogating from the ordinary regulations of the Guarantee Fund for SMEs.

Who is it aimed at?

To SMEs, medium-sized enterprises and Mid Caps operating in all economic sectors.

What does it predict

The key points of the regulation are the following: - Remodulation of the coverage percentages, maintaining significant levels of operation; - Specific rules for interventions carried out through guarantors authorized to operate with the Fund; - Procedural simplification and usability; - Increase in the amount maximum for low-value operations; - Access to third sector bodies; - Reintroduction of access to loan by loan guarantee interventions for Mid Cap companies; - Reduction of cases in which the commission is applied for failure to complete; - Free of charge of the intervention of the Fund for micro-enterprises.
