The Call supports the entry and permanence in the labor market of people with disabilities with the aim on the one hand of reducing the risks of marginalisation, social exclusion and precarious work, on the other of encouraging greater knowledge of the business system, promoting a more conscious culture of inclusion of people with disabilities, through specific employment assistance interventions aimed at employers with business characteristics. The envisaged measures have the specific purpose of incentivizing hiring and consolidating employment relationships, as well as contributing to expenses related to hiring and inclusion in training and orientation paths. In this perspective, the measures of this Notice also respond to the broader aim of developing collaboration between targeted placement services provided for by law no. 68/99 and companies that intend to promote corporate social responsibility in their business project. The initiative is promoted by the Lombardy Region in implementation of the objectives of the Regional Sustainable Development Program of the XII legislature, approved by the Regional Council on 20 June 2023 with DCR XII/42, and of the regional Action Plan for policies in favor of people with disabilities 2021-2023, and created by the Province of Pavia in implementation of Regional Council Resolution no. XII/1334 of 13 November 2023. It also contributes to achieving the objectives contained in the European Commission communication "A Union of equality: strategy for the rights of people with disabilities 2021-2030".
Who is it aimed at?
Private companies of any size and sector of activity, with registered and/or operational headquarters and/or at least one production unit and/or branch in the Lombardy Region, can access the relief. The beneficiary submits a request to the Targeted Placement of the Province where the production unit or branch in which the disabled person is employed and carries out the work is located. By private enterprise we mean any entity which, regardless of its legal status and financing methods, carries out an economic activity, or any activity consisting in offering goods or services on a specific market regardless of the profit-making aim possibly pursued. This includes public economic bodies and companies controlled by public bodies. In the case of temporary work, pursuant to articles. 20 and 28 of Legislative Decree no. 276/2003 and subsequent amendments and additions, the user company is the beneficiary of the contribution.
