Public notice for the presentation of project proposals for research activities carried out by research organizations and companies reserved for the Southern area as part of the Cultural Heritage Active Innovation For Next-Gen Sustainable Society (CHANGES) project, financed under the Plan National Recovery and Resilience Mission, Mission 4 “Education and Research” – Component 2 “From research to business” – Investment 1.3, financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU. 

Who is it aimed at?

The call is aimed at the following subjects: - Research Organizations (Od R), external to the CHANGES Partnership, as defined pursuant to point 1.3 letter (ff) of the new RSI regulations referred to in communication C (2022) 7388 of 19 October of 2022 both public and private, in single or collaborative mode, - Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), external to the CHANGES Partnership, in single or collaborative mode. Companies must have the dimensional parameters referred to in Annex I of REG (EC) n. 800/2008 of the Commission of 6 August 2008 (General Block Exemption Regulation) in OJEU L 214 of 9.8.2008, - Large Enterprises (GI), external to the CHANGES Partnership, in collaborative mode provided that the collaboration requirement persists with at least one MSME. 

What does it predict

The “Cultural Heritage Active Innovation for Next-Gen Sustainable Society (CHANGES)” program focuses on the issues of humanistic culture and cultural heritage as laboratories of innovation and creativity. The Partnership is aimed at creating an inter-institutional coordination system in the management of cultural heritage with the ultimate objective of developing an extended governance model, encouraging collaboration between the public and private sectors and expanding the involvement of the latter for the purposes the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage. The University of Florence as Spoke 7, called "Protection and Conservation of Cultural Heritage Against Climate Changes, Natural and Anthropic Risks", is the Implementer of the CHANGES Project and, as such, must activate "cascade calls" .
