Call4Solutions involves the definition and promotion of a call to invite innovative startups and SMEs, potentially interested in proposing entrepreneurial solutions, in order to access the accompanying path, to be able to carry out collaborative innovation projects. The scope of the contributions must be inherent to the activities carried out by the laboratories of the House of Emerging Technologies of Matera, in the areas of application listed below: 1. GARDEN OF TECHNOLOGIES & AGRICULTURE 4.0;2. BLOCKCHAIN & QUANTUM KEY DISTRIBUTION (QKD);3. AR, VR, XR, METAVERSE & GAMING;4. ROBOTICS, 3D PRINTING & ADDITIVE MANIFACTURING;5. 5G & 6G, DIGITAL TWIN OF THE CITY OF MATERA;6. AEROSPACE & SPACE ECONOMY;7. EDUCATION 4.0 & ENGAGEMENT OF THE TERRITORY. The entrepreneurial solutions must have a minimum level of technological maturity equal to 5. The relevant levels required are described below: – TRL 5: Technology validated in an (industrially) relevant environment; – TRL 6: Technology demonstrated in (industrially) relevant environment; – TRL 7: Demonstration of a system prototype in an operational environment; – TRL 8: Complete and qualified system; – TRL 9: Real system tested in an operational environment (competitive production, marketing).
Who is it aimed at?
The notice is aimed at startups, SMEs and research centers located anywhere in Italy and has the aim of promoting emerging technologies with application to the sectors of the House of Emerging Technologies project. By way of example and not limited to, the following may apply: a) Research centres; b) Foundations or Associations; c) Companies and their consortia; d) Cooperative societies; e) Established startups; f) innovative SMEs. The proposing entity, at the time of submitting the application, must attach the signed DGUE.
What does it predict
The total allocation of resources available for this Notice (Call4Solutions) amounts to a total of €455,000.00 including VAT and charges. Financial support is provided for the selected proposals, through the provision of a contribution to reimburse the expenses incurred for demonstration activities in the field. The contribution referred to in this Notice is granted on the basis of a ranking evaluation procedure, for a maximum number of 10 proposals. A single beneficiary will be able to receive a contribution equal to, at most, 100% of the eligible testing costs, for a maximum contribution value of €35,000. Any additional costs that exceed the maximum allowable value on which the contribution is calculated will be borne by the beneficiary as increased co-financing. The contributions will be paid pursuant to the "de minimis" regime referred to in EU Regulation 1407/2013. The contribution referred to in this Notice is compatible with other state aid according to the limits established pursuant to art. 5 of Regulation (EU) no. 1407/2013. The proposer must indicate the possible presence of other requests for financing from public bodies, credit institutions, foundations or private companies. It is specified that the principle of non-cumulability of financing on the same expenses/activities applies. The Administration reserves the right not to finance any project if what is presented is not deemed to comply with the provisions contained in the notice.
