Announcement, reserved for companies in the seaside sector, for the granting of contributions for the adoption of business management systems compliant with ISO 13009 and ISO 14001 standards. The Sassari Chamber of Commerce intends to encourage the acquisition of certifications by seaside operators environmental, through the provision of contributions to cover part of the certification costs. From 19 December until 1 July 2024, companies in the seaside sector can submit an application to benefit from contributions to obtain ISO 13009 and ISO 14001 environmental certifications. The ISO 14001 standard is the basis of the Environmental Management System. It requires a company to consider all environmental aspects critical to its daily activities such as, for example, waste management, possible soil contamination, air pollution, water and wastewater problems, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, etc; The ISO 13009 standard “Tourism and related services. Requirements and recommendations for the operation of the beach” defines the services and infrastructures that distinguish quality beaches. It is configured as the international reference for operators who manage beach establishments and provides guidelines, agreed at an international level, for sustainable beach management capable of offering quality services. The rule addresses very specific aspects of beach management, including the safety of beaches and waters, cleanliness, evaluating both the adequacy of the infrastructure and the quality of the service offered. The contributions are paid in the form of vouchers for a maximum amount of three thousand euros for each beneficiary. The voucher is granted according to an over-the-counter procedure, in chronological order, and allows you to purchase services to obtain certification.
Who is it aimed at?
The following can access the contribution: companies, active and registered in the Business Register of the Chamber of Commerce of Sassari which carry out the management of bathing establishments referred to the following ATECO codes: 93.29.20: "Management of bathing establishments: maritime, lake and river ”77.21.02: “Unmanned rental of pleasure boats (including pedal boats)”77.21.09: “Rental of other sports and recreational equipment”.
What does it predict
Actions aimed at obtaining the following certifications: ISO 13009 ISO 14001 of the company (or part of it) from accredited third-party bodies are eligible for the contribution. The certification expenses must refer to the operational headquarters or unit to the local unit registered in the Business Register of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce. The following types of expenses are eligible for contribution: consultancy expenses for obtaining certification; expenses invoiced by the certifying or verifying body. External consultancy for the implementation of the activities must be provided by qualified companies or professionals. The following are considered qualified: – companies that carry out consultancy activities in the environmental field or quality certification as shown in the company register; – professionals registered in Registers/Colleges/Orders who carry out activities in the environmental field or quality certification. The expenses must refer exclusively to certifications obtained for the first time; no expenses related to renewals will be allowed. Companies with operational registered office and/or local operational unit, recipient of the investment, in the territory under the jurisdiction of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce, registered in the business register of the Sassari Chamber of Commerce, can access the benefits of the tender.
