With the initiative, the Lombardy Region promotes construction, expansion, extraordinary maintenance and renovation interventions for the purposes of technological innovation, redevelopment, safety, accessibility, energy efficiency and mitigation of natural phenomena, of mountaineering refuges and shelters excursions and complementary interventions, according to the purposes set out in Regional Law 1 October 2015 n. 27 and in accordance with the Regional Regulation of 5 August 2016 n. 7.
Who is it aimed at?
Managers or owners of mountaineering and hiking refuges located in mountain or partially mountain municipalities, referred to in articles, can apply. 31 and 32 of LR 1 October 2015 n. 27, which are regularly registered in the regional list of mountaineering refuges and hiking refuges, in accordance with the provisions of art. 35 of the law and in possession of all the requirements established by the aforementioned regional legislation on the date of submission of the application.
What does it predict
The interventions can only be carried out in the territory of Lombardy municipalities classified as "mountain" or "partially mountain" pursuant to DGR 8 May 2014 n. X/1794. The following types of intervention can be financed: a) Renovation, expansion and extraordinary maintenance of shelters; b) Construction and extraordinary maintenance of complementary or necessary systems for the operation or regulatory adaptation of the property; c) Construction and extraordinary maintenance of structures and complementary or necessary works for the operation or regulatory adaptation of the property; d) Extension and extraordinary maintenance of fixed water collection tanks for forest firefighting (AIB), as well as the related adduction systems and accessory works; e) Construction of interventions to improve the energy performance of the property also through integration with renewable source systems; f) Creation of works for the disposal of waste and wastewater; g) Creation of works and systems functional to water supply and recovery of rainwater; h) Purchase and installation of telecommunications equipment in the shelters.
