Public call for the selection of project proposals to be financed within the research program of the Biodiversity National Future Center conducted by Spoke 3 “SPOKE 3 “ASSESSING AND MONITORING TERRESTRIAL AND FRESHWATER BIODIVERSITY AND ITS EVOLUTION: FROM TAXONOMY TO GENOMICS AND CITIZEN SCIENCE”, based on the resources of the national plan for recovery and resilience (PNRR), mission 4 "education and research" - component 2 "from research to business" - investment 1.4 - creation of "territorial R&D leaders", financed by the Union European – EXTGENERATIONEU.
Who is it aimed at?
The call is aimed at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), external to the National Biodiversity Future Center, which compete in single or collaborative mode with other enterprises, having the dimensional parameters referred to in Annex I of REG (EC) no. 800/2008 of the Commission of 6 August 2008 (General Block Exemption Regulation) in OJEU L 214 of 9.8.2008; − to Large Enterprises (GI), external to the National Biodiversity Future Center, in collaborative mode provided that the requirement persists of collaboration with at least one MSME; can support a maximum of 70% of the total eligible cost of the project; − to the Associations and Foundations pursuant to articles. 14 et seq. code civil and the bodies referred to in the Third Sector Code referred to in Legislative Decree 3 July 2017 n.117; − to the research organizations (Od R), external to the National Biodiversity Future Center, in collaborative mode, as defined pursuant to point 1.3 letter (ff) of the new CSR regulations referred to in communication C (2022) 7388 of 19 October 2022 both public and private.
What does it predict
The call intends to support research activities in the following areas:1- Knowledge, monitoring and conservation of Italian terrestrial biodiversity of animals, plants and microorganisms 2- Knowledge, monitoring and conservation of Italian freshwater biodiversity of animals, plants and microorganisms3- Activities involving citizens in monitoring and data collection initiatives on terrestrial and freshwater biodiversity (Citizen Science)4- Creation of a platform to collect Citizen Science projects, institutions and resources at a national level5- Natural substances extracted from insects Italians and their application in the fight against tumors
