Notice of Cascading Call within the Project AGRITECH Project – National Research Center for Agricultural Technologies”, Project Code CN00000022, CUP H93C2200044007, Spoke 7 “Integrated models for the development of marginal areas to promote multifunctional production system enhancing agro-ecological and socio -economic sustainability” aimed at financing n. 11 Research Projects carried out by companies also in collaboration with state universities, non-state universities legally recognized and accredited by the MUR and public research bodies.
Who is it aimed at?
Companies also in collaboration with State Universities, non-State Universities legally recognized and accredited by the MUR and Public Research Bodies.
What does it predict
Finance n. 11 Research Projects, one for each of the topics listed below: Coastal marginal areas – Theme 1: Study of an eco-hydraulic system that is sustainable in environmental and energy terms which, through the introduction of advanced techniques for the sampling and purification of water marine or brackish, provides solutions suitable for irrigation in marginal coastal areas and for the use of the resulting brine in other production processes – €400,000.00 – Intervention 100% SOUTH quota; – Topic 2: Development of systems to analyze and improve the quality of saline soils which, by optimizing the use of fertilizers and salinity correctors with a view to precision agriculture, make agricultural production sustainable – €300,000.00 – Intervention 100 % SOUTH share; – Theme 3: Application of Io T solutions for the collection and analysis of water, agronomic and environmental, economic and social data, to improve the management of natural resources and reduce the environmental impact of agricultural production in marginal areas – €450,000 .00 – Intervention 100% SOUTH share; – Theme 4: Development of technological solutions in the field of precision agriculture that favor the adaptation of plant species of food, pharmaceutical or industrial interest in soils at high risk of salinisation – €496,000.00 – Intervention 100% SUD share; Aquaponics in marginal areas – Theme 5: Development of aquaponics systems which, through the breeding of aquatic organisms and plant species, allow the valorisation of rainwater in urban areas and provide ecosystem services (urban gardens, vertical gardens, green walls, ecological corridors, etc.) – €500,000.00 – Intervention 100% SOUTH share; – Topic 6: Development of remote-sensing systems that allow the monitoring of process parameters in order to perform system diagnostics and control production in aquaponics systems – €500,000.00 – Intervention 100% SUD quota; – Topic 7: Study and development of processes and strategies for the valorisation of biomass and waste produced by aquaponics systems with particular attention to their use as a substrate in pots and for the improvement of marginal soils – €600,000.00 – Intervention 100% SOUTH quota; Sheep-goat product supply chain in marginal areas – Theme 8: Development of advanced technologies in the field of genetics and genomics for the recovery of sheep germplasm in marginal Italian areas at risk of genetic erosion – €400,000.00; – Topic 9: Development and/or implementation of technological innovations to improve the welfare, management and production efficiency of flocks – €400,000.00; – Theme 10: Development of methods for the analysis of impacts and management of surfaces, the evaluation of data for genetic indices for the improvement of populations and the introduction of technological innovations that allow balancing nutritional intake by reducing pressure from animals on pastures using innovative dynamic feeding systems (precision feeding) and other precision animal husbandry systems applicable to pasture areas – €400,000.00; – Topic 11: Development and/or implementation of innovative and sustainable technologies for washing and carding wool and the valorisation of fabrics coming from local supply chains with the introduction of more efficient phenotyping systems for genetic selection aimed at obtaining yarns and finished products of interest to the fashion industry – €400,000.00.
