The Vicenza Chamber of Commerce, considering that numerous sector studies report that local businesses complain about the lack of people trained for work in the tourism, catering and hospitality sectors, intends to promote orientation towards the attendance of qualification courses professional in these areas through the provision of specific scholarships. 

Who is it aimed at?

The initiative is aimed at: a) students who intend to enroll in 2024 in one of the professional qualification courses recognized and organized in the province of Vicenza by a Training Body accredited by the Veneto Region, relating to the thematic areas SEP 02-PRODUCTIONS FOOD and SEP 23-TOURIST SERVICES; b) students already enrolled in one of the aforementioned courses at the time of publication of the Notice; c) students who have completed one of the aforementioned courses in 2024 and have not already benefited from the scholarship from the previous 23QT Call. 

What does it predict

The scholarship consists of the provision of a non-repayable contribution of 800 euros to n. 50 students who will be registered in November 2024 or have completed in 2024 a professional qualification course recognized and organized in the province of Vicenza by a Training Body accredited by the Veneto Region, relating to the following thematic areas: – SEP 02-FOOD PRODUCTION – Butcher shop operator (butcher counter operator, butcher..) – Pastry shop operator (pastry chef, pastry chef) – Bakery operator (baker, white arts expert) – Ice cream shop operator (ice cream maker, ice cream maker) – SEP 23- TOURIST SERVICES – Bar service technician (bartender, barman) – Kitchen technician (cook, chef) – Room service technician (room manager, maitre) – Kitchen operator (cook, assistant chef) – Technician specialized in management of catering structures (food & beverage manager) – Sommelier – Room service operator (waiter) – Pizza chef.
