the strategic objective of the Call: • combine the best research skills necessary to adequately address the multiple problems associated with sustainable agriculture in a truly multidisciplinary context; • integrate the infrastructure and research equipment available at each site. Support pilot projects, demonstrations and/or experiments on a specific innovative technology or structure; • exploit and apply the most suitable Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) that can enable fruitful advancement of productivity, sustainability, ecological and digital transition in the agricultural sector; • collaborate with companies and farmers to co-design research efforts and exploit the best results to increase the resilience and economic competitiveness of agri-food supply chains; • train the next generation of AGRITECH scientists and managers to generate the necessary human capital and skills.
Who is it aimed at?
The following private entities may request the benefits provided for in this Notice: • Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in collaboration with at least one public or private research organization or a Large Enterprise; • Large Enterprises (hereinafter also GI); • associations and foundations pursuant to art. 14 et seq. code civil, ordinary consortia pursuant to articles. 2602 et seq. code civil); and the following public entities: • Public research bodies and institutions including universities and bodies referred to in Legislative Decree no. 218/2016.
What does it predict
Announcement "New models of circular economy in agriculture through the valorisation and recycling of waste" provides for the provision of funding in the form of a contribution to expenditure to support fundamental research projects, industrial research, experimental development, training and investments in research infrastructures in the following areas: • New molecules, products and processes with high added value for the valorisation of waste, waste, by-products and agricultural co-products or for agriculture • Energy production from waste, waste, by-products and agricultural co-products • Recovery of nutrients and organic matter from waste, waste and agricultural by-products • Development of agricultural districts based on new circular technologies in agriculture
