Public call for the selection of project proposals for research activities carried out by research organizations and companies to be financed within the scope of the extended partnership research program “AGE-IT – Aging well in an aging society”, drawing on the resources of the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience (PNRR), mission 4 "education and research" - component 2 "from research to business" - investment 1.3 - creation of "partnerships extended to universities, research centers and companies for the financing of projects of basic research”, funded by the European Union – NEXTGENERATIONEU.
Who is it aimed at?
The following can request the benefits referred to in this Notice: ● Research Organizations (Od R), external to the Age-It Partnership, as defined pursuant to point 1.3 letter (ff) of the new CSR regulation referred to in communication C (2022) 7388 of 19 October 2022, both public and private, in single or collaborative mode.● Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), external to the Age-It Partnership, in single or collaborative mode. Companies must have the dimensional parameters referred to in Annex I of REG (EC) n. 800/2008 of the Commission of 6 August 2008 (General Block Exemption Regulation) in OJEU L 214 of 9.8.2008.● Large Enterprises (GI), external to the Age-It Partnership, in collaborative mode provided that the requirement persists of collaboration with at least one MSME.
What does it predict
The Age-It Program (PE0000015) financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU” on PNRR MUR funds – M4C2 – Investment 1.3. “Extended Partnerships” notice promotes a scheme based on cascade funding. In particular, the Age-It Partnership provides for the implementation of cascade calls aimed at granting funding for research activities to entities external to the Partnership. The University of Florence, as Spoke 1 and 9, is the implementing body of the Age-It Project and, in compliance with the provisions of art. 5 of Public Notice no. 341 of 15-03-2022 must activate "Cascade calls".
