The notice is financed to be worth on the following actions of the Pr Campania Fesr 2021 - 2027

  • Priority: 1. Innovation research, digitization and competitiveness. Specific objective 1.1 "develop and strengthen research and innovation skills and the introduction of advanced technologies". Action 1.1.2 "Stimulate technology transfer and support the potential of the regional research and innovation ecosystem"
  • Priority 1bis "Digital technologies, clean and biotechnology: contribution to the step platform". Specific goal 1.6. Support the investments that contribute to the objectives of the platform for strategic technologies for Europe (Step) referred to in Article 2 of Regulation (EU) 2024/795 of the European Parliament and the Council (FESR). Action 1.6.1 "Support the development and manufacture of critical technologies".

Who is it aimed at?

Micro, small and medium -sized enterprises in a single or aggregate form in consortia, consortium companies or network contracts with legal subjectivity, must have operational headquarters in Campania and be established on the date of presentation. Large companies and research bodies can also participate in the stable aggregation, provided that the requirement of sized SMEs of the aggregation is maintained. Each company, both in single and aggregate form, can present a single project in the context of the notice, under penalty of inadmissibility of all the projects presented. The projects financed to apply to action 1.6.1 must be aimed at the development or manufacture of critical technologies or to safeguard and strengthen the respective chains of the value, in particular as regards the green and digital transition of the aerospace sector.

The proposed interventions must concern at least one of the following technological sectors (step):

  • Digital technologies and Deep-Tech innovation
  • Clean and efficient technologies in terms of resources.

The fundable interventions must provide for the realization of:

  • Productive investments, necessary for the purposes of the development or manufacture of the critical technology proposed or to the safeguarding and strengthening of the value chain relating to the technology itself
  • Any "industrial research" and "experimental development" activities, functional to productive investments.

Companies of any dimension can benefit from support. Companies, single or aggregate in consortia, consortium companies or network contracts with legal subjectivity, must have operational headquarters in Campania and be established on the date of presentation. Each company, both in single and aggregate form, can present a single project in the context of the notice, under penalty of inadmissibility of all the projects presented.

What does it predict

Aid will be granted in the form of a capital contribution pursuant to articles 14 and 25 of the Reg (EU) 651/14, covering a percentage of eligible expenses, variable according to the investment category:

What is the period to apply for the aerospace call?

What are the beneficiaries of the Campania Aerospace Call?
They can benefit micro, small and medium -sized enterprises (section 1) or companies of any size (section 2), single or in stable aggregation (consortia, network contracts) with operational headquarters in Campania. Mad assists you at every design phase.

What is the goal of the Campania Region Aerospace Call?
The goal is to strengthen the regional aerospace ecosystem, encourage digital and green transition, and position companies in the European chain. Mad recommends and supports strategies consistent with Ris3 Campania.

What are the two sections of the announcement and financial allocations?
Section 1 (Clean Aviation): provision € 20 m, eligible expenses from € 1 m to € 3 M. Section 2 (Step): € 10 m, minimum expenses € 2.5 M. Mad guides you in the selection of the most suitable section.

What costs are admissible in the aerospace call?
Eligible: staff, instrumentation, real estate, contractual research, patents, advice, raw materials, machinery (section 2), infrastructures, intangible active ingredients. MAD supports the definition of the economic plan and compliant reporting.

What is the intensity of the contribution for small and medium -sized enterprises?
Section 1: SMEs (small up to 80% for research, 60% experimental; averages of up to 75% and 50%). Section 2: PMI 70% Investments, 80% Search, 60% Experimental Development. Bespokemad helps you to maximize the available percentages.

Is it possible to present multiple projects from the same company?
No. Each company can present only one project, individually or in aggregate form. Failure to comply involves inadmissibility. Mad checks your design strategy to avoid exclusions.

What is the duration expected for funded projects?
There are no explicit limits in the notice, but in line with similar calls the minimum duration is 1 year and maximum 2 years per section, aligned with the calendar. Mad helps in temporal planning and in achieving intermediate goals.

How do you apply online for the aerospace call?
The application must be completed exclusively on the "Desigiaerospace" portal of the Campania Region, accessible via SPID/CIE/CNS. Mad supports compilation, sending and uploading documents on the portal.

What technological areas are allowed in section 1 Clean Aviation?
They must return to the aerospace sectors indicated in the Ris3 Campania, including the area Clean Aviation. Includes propulsion, aircraft, avionic systems and innovative processes. Mad helps to build your project around the regional strategic trajectories.

What formal requirements should the aggregation of companies comply?
Section 1: stable or temporary aggregations composed of SMEs (at least 60% expenses incurred by SMEs); Section 2: Stable aggregations with legal subjectivity. Mad supports contractual structures and verification of the requirements.
