New Skills Fund 3rd Ed.
Skills for innovations
The third edition of the New Skills Fund (FNC) was launched with the decree of 10 October 2024, published on 27 November 2024. This fund aims to support companies in the digital and ecological transition processes , encouraging the updating of workers' skills and promoting new employment .
FNC has an initial allocation of 730 million euros , coming from the National Program "Youth, women and work" co-financed by the ESF+. These resources are intended to finance part of the hourly cost of workers engaged in training courses .
Grant applications can be submitted from 10 February 2025 to 10 April 2025
What's new for 2024
The third edition of the New Skills Fund (FNC) introduces several innovations compared to the previous ones:
- Incentives for hiring unemployed and seasonal workers : FNC now provides bonuses for companies that hire unemployed people, including seasonal workers.
- Three distinct lines of intervention:
- Training systems , involving educational bodies and institutions to develop specific training paths.
- Training chains : promoting training along the entire production chain.
- Individual employers : allowing companies to present targeted projects to train their employees.
- Focus on digital and sustainable skills : The decree places particular attention on the development of skills related to environmental sustainability, digitalisation and artificial intelligence.
- Involvement of pre-selected unemployed people : A significant innovation is the possibility of including unemployed people already pre-selected by the company for subsequent hiring in the training courses.
- Training vouchers for small businesses : Small businesses, often disadvantaged in accessing training courses, will be able to benefit from specific training vouchers, with completely digitalized management to simplify procedures and make the system more accessible.
For everyone,
really everyone.
If you have at least 5 employees with MAD and the new FNC you can train and retrain employees!
The New Skills Fund is aimed at private employers, including publicly held companies, who have entered into collective agreements for the remodulation of working hours aimed at training courses.
A novelty of this edition is the possibility of involving unemployed people pre-selected by the company for subsequent hiring in the training courses.
