The measure aims to support the production of cinematographic and audiovisual works, in order to strengthen and qualify local businesses, attract national and international production homes, encourage the professional growth of regional operators in the sector and spread the knowledge of historical, artistic contexts , cultural and landscape-environmental of the island, also for tourism promotion purposes.
Who is it aimed at?
a) Audiovisual production company, with registered office in the territory of the Italian State or of the European Union in any form established as long as legally constituted, also in the form of ATI, which exercise the activity of a film company according to the definition of art. 2, paragraph 1, letter o), of law no. 220/2016; Registered in the Register of Companies at the Chamber of Commerce competent for territory with primary or prevalent activities, for at least 24 months, of film production, of videos, of television programs and films (Ateco 2007 "59.11", or Nace Rev.2 code "59.11" or equivalent); Unique producers of the project presented, co -producers or producers associated with a share of not less than 20%.
b) Audiovisual production company based in an extra-union countries registered in the homologous register of companies in the foreign country of residence, with primary or prevalent activities, for at least 24 months, of film production, of videos, of television programs and films (code equivalent to the Nace Rev. 2 "59.11"); Unique producers of the project presented, co -producers or producers associated with a share of not less than 20%.
- have been in activity for at least two years in the context of audiovisual production and not to be subjected to liquidation procedures, bankruptcy, composition with creditors, controlled administration or other bankruptcy procedures in progress;
- possess the operational, administrative and economic-financial administrative capacity in relation to the project to be implemented;
All subjective requirements will have to remain for each beneficiary until the conclusion of the project and the relative closure of the financial circuit, it being understood that any modification or variation intervened after the presentation of the application for admission, under penalty of exclusion/revocation, must be promptly communicated to the granting administration for the necessary checks and assessments. Furthermore, without prejudice to what is indicated in the previous letters a) EB), each proponent, both as a single manufacturer, of co -producer or associated manufacturer (both with majority share and with minority fee), may present for each annual window:
- A single request for the category "Film/television production film" and "TV series";
- A single request for the category "Documentaries and documentary TV series";
- A single request for the "short film" category.
The requests received by subjects already recipients of contributions granted by Sicily Film Commission will not be considered admissible that:
- In the two solar years preceding the presentation of the application, they have been recipients of revocation procedures, also for the renunciation of the facilities ;
What does it predict
For the three-year period 2025-2027 a total of € 15,000,000 divided as follows:
Year 2025 - € 3,956,024.49 of which:
➔ € 3,600,000.00 for film/television and seriousv production films;
➔ € 330,000.00 for documentaries and documentary TV series;
➔ € 26,024.49 for short films.
Year 2026 - € 5,604,232,62 of which:
➔ € 5,200,000.00 for film/television production films and TV series;
➔ € 370,000.00 for documentaries and documentary TV series;
➔ € 34,232.62 for short films.
Year 2027 - € 5,439,742.89 of which:
➔ € 5,050,000.00 for film/television production films and TV series;
➔ € 357,000.00 for documentaries and documentary TV series;
➔ € 32,742.89 for short films.
