Things

The measure was launched in the context of the Covid-19 health emergency, during which awareness increased that ultra-broadband internet connections constitute a prerequisite for carrying out fundamental activities for individuals, for example studying or working. The intervention as a social measure aims to guarantee connectivity services to less well-off families.

Who is it aimed at?

Less wealthy families with ISEE less than €20,000 without connectivity services at least 30 Mbit/s download.

What does it predict

Less well-off families with an ISEE of less than €20,000 who do not have connectivity services of at least 30 Mbit/are provided with a voucher to switch to the best connectivity available in their respective homes. In order to guarantee not only access but also the efficient use of the network's resources and applications, beneficiaries are also offered the instrumental goods to use these services such as telephones, tablets or personal computers.
