This announcement contributes to the reduction of the territorial gaps between the more and less developed regions of the Italian territory, within the “MUSA” ECS approved with funding granting decree no. 1055 of 23 June 2022, with the aim of financing Proof of Concept (Po C) and prototyping projects aimed at the development of new/improved products, processes or services.
Who is it aimed at?
Public and private research organizations (universities, public research bodies, research institutes), individually or in partnership, can apply under this notice. The research organizations must have an active operational headquarters in the South, i.e. in the following regions: Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily
What does it predict
The call finances projects that are consistent, in terms of repercussions and impacts, with the research and innovation themes of Spoke 6 of the ECS "MUSA" and, where possible, with the intelligent specialization strategy (S3) of the region(s) in where the beneficiary has its operational headquarters. When submitting the application, the Supervisory Board will have to highlight these elements of coherence and relevance, which will be subject to an assessment of merit. In particular, consistently with the activities of Spoke 6, the call finances research and development activities on the following topic:• "Youth Led research and public space in urban and insular contexts". The action aims to replicate in urban contexts, preferably insular ones, taking into account the specificities of the reference territory, the model (theoretical, methodological and public engagement) of the Youth forum as a model of public participation with and for young people, created by Spoke 6 (https://festivalgenerazioni.unimib.it/festival-2023/)
