Things

This announcement contributes to the reduction of territorial gaps between the more and less developed regions of the Italian territory, within the scope of the ECS “MUSA” approved with decree granting funding no. 1055 of 23 June 2022, with the aim of financing industrial research and experimental development projects of a collaborative nature between companies and research organizations in the regions of Southern Italy: Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily.

Who is it aimed at?

The call is aimed at Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Large Enterprises (GIs), public and private research and knowledge dissemination organisations.

What does it predict

The call finances projects that are consistent, in terms of repercussions and impacts, with the research and innovation themes of Spoke 6 of the ECS "MUSA" and, where possible, with the intelligent specialization strategy (S3) of the region(s) in where the beneficiary has its operational headquarters and where the partnership as a whole carries out the RI and SS activities of the collaborative research project. When submitting the application, the Lead Partner of the partnership must provide evidence of these elements of coherence and relevance, which will be subject to an assessment of merit. In particular, consistently with the activities of the Spoke, the call finances research and development activities aimed at tools and methodologies for supporting initiatives with a high social impact and support for startups, SMEs and third sector organizations with a social vocation (eg social innovation) or aimed at bridging one or more of the "gaps" that the PNRR's M4C2 intends to fill: territorial, gender and generational.
