Things

The experimental action, promoted by the Piedmont Region, intends to integrate support for investments and support for access to credit for Piedmontese artisan businesses through the provision of non-repayable contributions in combination with subsidized loans, allocating additional resources to artisan businesses that deal with the repair/maintenance of vehicles equipped with new engines (electric, hybrid and hydrogen) and highly interconnected means of transport (cars, buses, trucks, bicycles) and who intend to implement a technological improvement plan through the purchase of new equipment/instruments and through the acquisition of new specific skills.

Who is it aimed at?

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises recorded in the Chamber of Commerce certificate with the qualification of "artisan enterprise" and with the primary or prevailing ATECO code of the investment location(s) as detailed in the "Activity Sector" section.

What does it predict

The action intends to support the innovative investments and technological improvement of artisan businesses in the repair sector, aimed at the use and maintenance of sustainable means of transport. The spread of new traction and data connection technologies requires different skills and equipment, compared to the current ones, to be able to intervene on new engines (electric, hybrid and hydrogen) and on increasingly interconnected means of transport. With this specific operation, experimental until 31 December 2023, the Piedmont Region wants to encourage the implementation of technological improvement plans, through the purchase of new equipment/instruments and the acquisition of new specific skills, such as training plans and safety. The types of eligible expenses concern: – main expenses: machinery, equipment, furnishings, capital goods; vehicles for the transport of goods, construction works, patents, trademarks, licenses, copyrights; certifications, investments necessary with respect to the safety and social distancing needs resulting from the health emergency and the needs related to the activation and strengthening of smart working; – expenses with limitations: purchase and/or construction of properties to be used for business activities, start-up, expenses for services, general expenses, inventories.
