This Notice supports proposals relating to activities that envisage reaching a level of technological maturity TRL > 3. It therefore represents support, starting from the first research phases, mainly referring to the development/implementation of technologies with extremely advanced content, including conceptual verification and prototypes for technology validation, demonstration activities for pilot projects and feasibility studies also in order to be able to evaluate high potential activities and support the creation of spin-offs and start-ups. Funding applications must include a division of activities and budget such as to respect the assignment of at least 75% of the costs attributable to partners based in southern Italy and no more than 25% of the costs attributable to partners based in the north/ central Italy.
Who is it aimed at?
Recipients: this notice is intended for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs); Innovative startups established no more than 24 months ago; Large Enterprises (GI); Foreign companies with an operational headquarters on Italian territory (i.e. which undertake to activate an office in Italy by the date of signature of the provision granting the relief); Scientific Hospitalization and Care Institutes (IRCCS); Universities and bodies supervised by the MUR; Research organizations registered in the National Research Registry (ANR); Public and private foundations, registered with the ANR, with recognized legal personality and a statute in which the carrying out of Research & Innovation activities is indicated among the fundamental objectives; Consortium companies and consortia with an international scope, provided that at least one partner has an operational unit in Italy.
What does it predict
Through this call we intend to support research and innovation activities in the following topics: 1. Technological platforms for the synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials. 2. Genome editing through nanostructured delivery systems for personalized medicine. 3. Bioprinting technologies for precision diagnosis and therapies. 4. Three-dimensional matrices and devices for locoregional drug delivery.
