Things

With this public notice, the Metropolitan City of Bologna intends to select, with a public notice, three companies that can participate in the "COBO Open Innovation" program. The program offers them the opportunity to access cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions developed by startups, spin-offs and innovative SMEs. The objective is to encourage collaboration between consolidated companies and the actors of the innovation ecosystem, with the aim of stimulating economic growth and promoting technological innovation through the implementation of innovative solutions and technologies enabled and/or portable on the network 5G, and/or one or more of the emerging technologies (for example: Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain).

Who is it aimed at?

The Notice is aimed at companies of any size whose annual turnover does not exceed 1 billion euros (with reference to the last year of operation), with registered office and/or operational headquarters in Italy, which demonstrate economic and research interest and development in the regional territory in the reference sector covered by the proposal. The beneficiaries of the initiative are companies that intend to experiment, within their processes, advanced technologies and solutions that have never been adopted before in the relevant business context; the co-design of these technologies and solutions will take place through collaboration with the innovation partner (startup, innovative SME, spin off).

What does it predict

The selected companies will benefit from:1. of free access to the COBO Open Innovation program, as described in the art. 6;2. of an expense reimbursement equal to 50% of the expenses incurred and up to a maximum of 50,000.00 euros for the expenses incurred for the implementation, through a Proof Of Concept (POC), of the technology/solution developed during the COBO Open Innovation program ;3. of the technologies and instruments functional to the implementation of the POC in the availability of the CTE
