As part of the “House of Emerging Technologies – Municipality of Bologna” project (hereinafter “CTE COBO”), with the aim of promoting the achievement of high TRL levels by technological startups, the Municipality and the Metropolitan City of Bologna, together with important local players, intend to create 3 highly competitive acceleration programs at a national level, in each of the 3 identified areas: Industry 4.0, Cultural and Creative Industries and Innovative Urban Services. The objective is to support a maximum number of 18 startups by offering the opportunity to participate in a vertical acceleration path, called COBO Accelerator, lasting at least 12 weeks, as well as obtaining a financial benefit for the development of the company up to to a maximum of 62,500 euros. The COBO Accelerator program also includes the organization of moments dedicated to matching with companies in order to generate collaboration opportunities. This notice is part of the “House of Emerging Technologies – Municipality of Bologna” project (hereinafter “CTE COBO”), financed by the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy (hereinafter MIMIT) with FSC 2014-2020 funds , as part of the Support Program for Emerging Technologies of the Plan for the diffusion of Broadband.
Who is it aimed at?
Startups with registered office and/or operational headquarters in Italy that demonstrate economic, research and development interest in the regional territory in the reference sector covered by the proposal and that develop enabled and/or portable solutions and/or are based on technologies: 5G, Blockchain , Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Technology, Internet of Things, Edge-Cloud computing, High Performance Computing, Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality.
What does it predict
The selected startups will be able to participate in a vertical acceleration path lasting at least 12 weeks, obtain a reimbursement of the expenses incurred for the development of the innovative solution and access the assets of the CTE COBO network.
