Who is it aimed at?

Private entities (such as individual businesses pursuant to art. 2082 of the civil code, partnerships and capital companies pursuant to articles 2247 et seq. of the civil code, associations and foundations pursuant to articles 14 et seq. of the civil code, ordinary consortia ex articles 2602 et seq. of the civil code), universities, public research institutions referred to in Legislative Decree no. 218/2016.

What does it predict

Development of innovative tools and identification of new phenotypes for improving resilience in ruminant species. Through this call we intend to support research and technology transfer activities aimed at developing, even within a network of companies, control and monitoring procedures and forecasting models capable of: 1) encouraging the creation of an in-line system of collection of innovative individual phenotypic data that can be configured as indicators of resilience in ruminant species and that feeds a big data database useful for: a) validating on a large scale new phenotypes and sensors already developed within AGRITECH and b) estimating genetic and breeding parameters breeding values ​​for new phenotypes both measured and predicted through precision livestock farming systems. 2) Test breeds and/or genetic lines also originating from different types of crossing in order to identify the most resilient animal types. 3) Develop practical and effective corporate supports for monitoring production and animal welfare useful for improving their efficiency, ability to adapt and mitigate against climate change and environmental sustainability.
