Things

G4I – Gate for Innovation is a hub for digital innovation for SMEs, promoted and managed by Confartigianato-Imprese, the largest European network representing interests and providing services to crafts and small businesses. The Hub is organized with a central headquarters in Rome and 27 operational structures in the area which guarantee a direct presence in 15 regions and coverage of the entire country thanks to over 200 operators specialized in orientation, information and dissemination of new digital technologies to support the sustainability and growth of businesses. The fundamental task of the G4I Hub is in fact to analyze and support the digital maturity of companies through a process of verifying current conditions and constraints and identifying innovation potential which will be conducted using a personalized assessment model entirely developed by experts in the field. of the Hub thanks also to the dense network of consolidated collaborations with the public and private innovation ecosystem.

Who is it aimed at?

The G4I Hub is aimed at all micro, small and medium-sized manufacturing and service enterprises, in any part of the national territory, registered in the Business Register, regardless of their dimensional, organisational, production and technological characteristics, as long as they comply with the requirements of accessibility to state aid established by the European Commission and not carrying out activities falling within the excluded sectors.

What does it predict

the G4I Hub will make an assessment service available to beneficiary companies relating to the evaluation of their digital maturity. The service will be provided directly by the Hub's operators through a series of meetings with the beneficiary company in which the company's top management and internal resources possibly useful for specific thematic insights will be involved. The assessment will be conducted thanks to the use of a digital platform owned by the Hub which will allow the recording and processing of the data collected during the meetings, at the end of which a structured report will be delivered to the owner containing an absolute and comparative evaluation of the degree of digital maturity of the company, broken down in numerical, graphic and textual form, overall and by functional areas. The report will also contain an analysis of the main critical factors of the company's digital growth process and a roadmap for the potential development of this process in the short/medium term supported by any elements of its sustainability. All data collected will be managed in strict compliance with the GDPR legislation, guaranteeing full confidentiality of the information collected.
