Notice of expression of interest for the selection of Sicilian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and startups interested in participating in the "SMAU Milano 2024" event, 29-30/10/2024, with the aim of promoting the innovation sector of Sicilian Region at other national and international production systems. The aims can be summarized as follows: - Promotion and marketing of the innovation sector of the Sicily Region (businesses, startups, research centers and university system) among other national and international production systems. - Enhancement and promotion of success cases and good practices already present in the regional territory. - Promotion of relations and incoming of national and international operators, with a view to attracting investments. - Activation of direct meetings - matching - between regional operators and national and international operators , also on the basis of a mapping of complementarities. - Creation of an effective valorisation and promotion action on the national and local economic media of the innovation system of the Sicily Region.
Who is it aimed at?
The notice is aimed at:A) micro, small and medium-sized enterprises as defined by Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014 and subsequent amendments;B) innovative startups, as defined by Legislative Decree no. 179 of 18 October 2012. The aforementioned recipients must, at the time of submitting the application, have their registered office or a production unit, recipient of the intervention, in the regional territory.
What does it predict
Participation in the initiative has the aim of developing commercial relationships, industrial and financial partnerships, open innovation projects and co-innovation activities and encouraging interregional and international cross-fertilization processes. Support is expected for approximately 20 Sicilian MSMEs. The value of the investment depends on the number of companies admitted for a maximum value of €130,000.00 including VAT. Participation in the event is to be understood as indirect state aid and is governed by EU Regulation no. 2023/2831 of the Commission of 13/12/2023.
