It supports projects that promote the technological and digital transformation of businesses and accelerate the transition of the manufacturing sector towards a circular economy model.

Who is it aimed at?

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) which at the date of submission of the application: are duly established and registered in the Business Register, are in the full and free exercise of their rights and are not in voluntary liquidation or subject to insolvency proceedings, are under ordinary accounting and have at least two approved financial statements filed with the Business Register, or have submitted, in the case of individual businesses and partnerships, at least two tax returns that are in compliance with current legislation on construction and urban planning, of work and environmental protection, as well as with the contributory obligations who have not carried out, in the two years preceding the submission of the application, a relocation to the production unit object of the investment are not included among the subjects who have received and, subsequently, not reimbursed or deposited in a blocked account, the aid considered illegal or incompatible by the European Commission is not in conditions such as to result in companies in difficulty. Freelancers registered with professional associations or members of professional associations identified in the list kept by the Ministry of Development and in possession of the certification can also access the benefits. Companies with up to a maximum of six co-proposers, in possession of the requisites established by law, who sign up to a network contract can benefit from the intervention provided that this contract represents an effective, stable and consistent collaboration with the objectives of strengthening competitiveness and technological development connected to the implementation of the proposed programs. 

What does it predict

Contribution towards facilities and subsidized financing, for a nominal percentage calculated with respect to the eligible expenses equal to 75%. The subsidized loan, which is not supported by particular forms of guarantee, must be repaid by the beneficiary company without interest in a period of maximum duration of 7 years starting from the date of disbursement of the last installment to balance the benefits. The mix of benefits is as follows:• for micro and small-sized businesses, a contribution towards installations of 35% and a subsidized loan of 40%• for medium-sized companies, a contribution towards installations of 25% and a 50% subsidized loan. The overall financial endowment of the instrument valid on both branches is equal to €558,485,676.43, of which: €265,000,000.00 (art. 3 paragraph 1 Ministerial Decree 30 October 2019 amended by art. 1 of the DD 9 November 2021) to be valid on the PON IC 2014-2020 AXIS VI on two separate branches € 200,000,000.00 (art. 1 Ministerial Decree 02 November 2021) to be valid on the AXIS VI PON IC 2014-2020 € 93,485,676.43 (art. 2 paragraph 1 Ministerial Decree 02 November 2021 which replaces art. 1 Ministerial Decree 26 February 2021) valid for AXIS VI PON-IC 2014-2020
