The KDT JU (Key Digital Technologies Joint Undertaking) is a partnership that supports research and innovation in the design of electronic components, as well as their production and integration into intelligent systems.

Who is it aimed at?

Companies of any size that carry out industrial/commercial/transport/auxiliary activities of the previous ones, artisan companies, agro-industrial companies, Universities, Research Centers and Research Organisations.

What does it predict

To contribute to the development of a strong and competitive industry in the electronic components and systems sector, €20,000,000.00 has been allocated to co-finance the projects of Italian companies selected in the tenders issued during 2023 by KDT JU – Innovation Actions ( IA), based on the resources provided for in Table A of the Ministerial Decree of 6 August 2021, and subsequent amendments, Mission 4, Component 2, Type of Investment, Intervention 2.2 Partnerships - for research and innovation - Horizon Europe. A 40% share of the 20 million euro allocation is reserved for companies located in the Southern regions.
