The Lazio Region, through the implementing body Lazio Innova, as part of the Economic Diplomacy activities indicated in the annual Program of Activities for the Internationalization of SMEs in Lazio - approved with DGR n. 600/2023, intends to participate in the Country System Mission “ITALY INNOVATION DAY 2023: SPACE CHAPTER AND BEYOND”. The mission is organized by the Italian Embassy in Japan and relating to the Aerospace sector, close to the anniversary of the third National Space Day, December 16th.
Who is it aimed at?
To this end, the Lazio Region intends to select up to 5 small and medium-sized enterprises or innovative startups in the space and aerospace economy sector with registered and/or operational headquarters in Lazio. The participation of the 5 companies falls within the scope of the Economic Diplomacy Actions, referred to in point C.4.3 of the 2023 Internationalization Plan, approved with DGR 600/2023 and financed with PR FESR 2021-2027 funds.
What does it predict
The system mission includes various events and presentations organized by the Italian Embassy in Japan. The selected companies will also be able to participate in specific B2B meetings with Japanese economic operators invited to participate. The calendar of events and meetings is still being defined. The Lazio Region will support the mission expenses (travel, food and accommodation) for a representative for each of the 5 SMEs identified through this notice.
