IPCEI H2 Technology (IPCEI Hydrogen 1) supports research, development and innovation activities, including in the first industrial application, along a large part of the hydrogen value chain, including: - the production of hydrogen through development of new generation technologies; - the production of fuel cells; - new storage, transport and distribution technologies; - the development of applications for end users, in particular on naval and railway mobility. The ultimate aim of the initiative is to contribute to the decarbonisation of the economy by encouraging the replacement of fossil fuels with hydrogen, facilitating the accumulation and diffusion as well as the use of energy from renewable sources in large means of transport.
Who is it aimed at?
Participating companies authorized by the European Commission Decision C(2022) 5158 final of 15 July 2022. Additional entities may be admitted following expression of interest, notification and subsequent authorization by the European Commission in compliance with the relevant Decision.
What does it predict
Granting of benefits to the entities carrying out the project, authorized pursuant to the European Commission Decision C(2022) 5158 final of 15 July 2022.
