In order to counteract the ongoing deindustrialisation processes, recover abandoned industrial sites or those at risk of disposal for production purposes and safeguard the wealth of knowledge and specific professional skills present in the research and development centers in the area, as well as to encourage the maintenance, the improvement and/or recovery of employment levels, the tender intends to facilitate the acquisition (understood as the acquisition of assets, both tangible and intangible, directly connected to the activity) of a company in crisis, of a business branch, or of a plant, production plant or research center located in Piedmont that is already closed or which, if not acquired, would close due to cessation of activity. It can also facilitate the rental, exclusively if aimed at the subsequent acquisition and, also, the acquisitions of individual functional lots relating to the cases indicated above, proposed, possibly, by various beneficiary entrepreneurial entities.
Who is it aimed at?
The tender is aimed at companies that intend to acquire companies in crisis or branches of companies in crisis, or a plant, a production plant or a research center located in Piedmont that are already closed or which, if they were not acquired, would close due to cessation of activity .
What does it predict
The tender provides for the granting of a non-repayable contribution to cover the expenses for the acquisition of tangible and intangible assets relating to the company in crisis which is the subject of the purchase operation. The intervention also provides for a contribution towards the carrying out of new hires and/or acquisitions of contracts in progress relating to employees employed on a fixed-term and/or permanent basis at the company acquired in whole or in part. This contribution is equal to a maximum of 6,300 euros for each hiring/acquisition of contract, with a maximum amount that can be granted per single beneficiary of 400,000 euros.
