In order to encourage the influx of tourists into its territory, in support of seasonal adjustment, the Calabria Region grants contributions for air, rail, maritime and road transport.
Who is it aimed at?
The beneficiaries of the contributions referred to in this law are the national and foreign travel organizations that carry out their activities in compliance with the legislation in force in their respective countries1, as well as the associations referred to in article 5 of the legislative decree of 23 May 2011, n. 79 (Code of state legislation on tourism regulation and market).
What does it predict
The Calabria Region grants contributions for the creation of travel programs, carried out in Calabria by groups of at least twenty-five people, which involve stays in the region of no less than seven nights, except as provided for in Article 4, paragraph 2, for the following types of expenses: a) charter flights; b) scheduled flights; c) road transport; d) rail transport; e) sea transport; f) transfers from Calabrian airports, ports and railway stations to accommodation destinations and vice versa, when the same transport is strictly related to air, rail or sea transport, and forms an integral part of the travel programme; g) communication and advertising activities.
