This is a measure approved with DGR 624/2024 and aimed at granting contributions for the implementation of interventions aimed at preventing forest fires in the areas of the regional territory included in the high and medium danger zones of the forest fire danger map attached to the Plan. regional forest firefighting, referred to in articles 7 and 22 of the regional law of 7 November 2019, n. 17.
Who is it aimed at?
The following can benefit from the contribution: a) private and public forest owners; b) private or public entities who, at the time of submitting the application, have a delegation from all the owners referred to in letter a) of submission of the application and the implementation of the interventions covered by the contribution. c) the owners and holders, individual or associated, of the management of forest areas; d) local authorities; e) exponential bodies of communities holding civic use rights
What does it predict
The measure in question provides for the granting of a de minimis contribution pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2023/2831, to carry out forest fire prevention interventions consisting of: a) ordinary maintenance of the agricultural, silvo-pastoral road access to the forests for a minimum length of 500 metres, by: 1) cutting the tree and shrub vegetation present on the road surface, with the possible removal of stumps and root systems; 2) cutting the tree and shrub vegetation for a strip of at least 3 meters from the edges of the road ;3) pruning of the branches of tree specimens grown in the adjacent strips beyond 3 meters from the edges of the road which could hinder the transit of forest fire fighting vehicles. b) in wooded areas, selective cutting of the tree and shrub vegetation for the creation of strips of protection in interface areas aimed at safeguarding homes and infrastructures, for a combined surface area of no less than 5000 m2. with the following methods:1) reduction or cleaning of shrub vegetation;2) thinning or spreading of tree vegetation, with particular regard to conifers and highly flammable species;3) cutting and removal of dry or decaying tree plants;4) removal or on-site chipping of plant material coming from cuttings of shrub vegetation and pruning.c) in meadow and pasture areas, maintenance and expansion of open areas in interface areas aimed at safeguarding homes and infrastructures, for a combined surface area of no less than 5000 m2 through interventions to reduce or clean up shrub vegetation.
