Things
The incentive provides benefits in the form of subsidized financing for small and medium-sized businesses with operational headquarters in the Veneto area. The characteristic of the subsidy is the sharing of risk between the financing institution affiliated with the regional finance company and the region, with reference to the subsidized loan. The region therefore acts as a co-financier.
Who is it aimed at?
SMEs that, at the date of submission of the application, meet the following requirements can benefit from the Fund's intervention: a) they must be regularly registered in the business register established at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture competent for the territory or at the register of artisan businesses and be in business on that date. For the purposes of identifying the start date of activity, the date resulting from the Chamber of Commerce certificate will prevail; b) must have their operational headquarters in the territory of the Veneto Region. The aforementioned location must be shown in the chamber of commerce inspection.
What does it predict
The announcement includes:1. Concessionary financing; 2. Facilitated financial leasing (“subsidized leasing”). This technical form can only be activated for initiatives aimed at making investments which take the form of the acquisition, with redemption obligation, of production plants, equipment and machinery. For these operations, the maximum eligible expense is represented by the purchase cost net of VAT and initial fee. The subsidized loans can also concern the current management of the company. In this case the amounts of the intervention are between €20,000.00 - €250,000.00 and do not benefit from the contribution/subsidy as the latter is linked only to investments. Applications for relief can be submitted continuously, as the relief is "one-stop" (art. 5, Legislative Decree no. 123/1998). The application is submitted to the Manager through the Financier (Banks or Leasing Companies) or, alternatively, through a Consortium or a trade association, which can also make use of its own service company. The application presented through a Confidi (which takes on the role of a mere intermediary for the implementation of operations in favor of other subjects and not of the Lender) or a trade association must be complete with a copy of the resolution granting the credit by the chosen Lender, with indication of: amount, technical form, duration, type of guarantees required to support the credit.
