Selection of project proposals for research activities carried out by companies within the Innovation Ecosystem research program “THE – Tuscany Health Ecosystem”, drawing on the resources of the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience (PNRR), mission 4 “Education and research” – Component 2 “From research to business” – Investment 1.5 – Creation and Strengthening of “Innovation Ecosystems for Sustainability”, creation of “Territorial R&D Leaders”, financed by the European Union – Nextgenerationeu.

Who is it aimed at?

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), outside the THE Ecosystem, which compete in single or collaborative mode with other enterprises, having the dimensional parameters referred to in Annex I of REG (EC) no., can apply. 800/2008 of the Commission of 6 August 2008 (General Block Exemption Regulation) in OJEU L 214 of 9.8.2008; to Large Enterprises (GI), external to the THE Ecosystem, exclusively in collaborative mode provided that the requirement of collaboration with at least one MSME persists for the entire duration of the project; can support a maximum of 70% of the total eligible project cost.

What does it predict

The THE Program (ECS00000017) financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU on PNRR MUR funds – M4C2 – Investment 1.5. "Innovation Ecosystems" notice promotes a scheme based on cascade funding. In particular, the THE ecosystem provides for the implementation of cascade calls aimed at granting funding for research activities to entities external to the Ecosystem. The University of Florence, as Spoke 2, 3 and 5, is the implementing body of the THE Project and, in compliance with the provisions of art. 5 of Public Notice no. 3277 of 12.30.21, must activate "cascade calls".
