The closure will take place when resources run out. The opening date for the submission of new development contract applications for the automotive sector, initially set for 15 November 2022, was postponed by directorial decree of 14 November 2022, following the communication from the European Commission (2022/C 423/04 ) of 7 November 2022, which extends the validity period of section 3.13 of the Temporary Framework on State aid in response to the Covid emergency to 31 December 2023. With the directorial decree of 15 November 2023, the temporary closure of the deadlines for the submission of applications for benefits under the Development Contracts facilitation instrument was established from 12.00 on 22 November 2023, as regulated by the decree of 9 December 2014 et seq. mm.ii. With the same directorial decree, starting from 12.00 on 4 December 2023, the reopening of the deadlines for submitting applications for relief under the Development Contracts facilitation instrument was also arranged, through two separate dedicated facilitation desks, the first, to the industrial development programs and development programs for environmental protection referred to in articles 5 and 6 of the decree of 9 December 2014 and subsequent amendments, and the second to the tourism activity development programs referred to in article 7 of the aforementioned decree.
