Facilitative instrument with a negotiating component aimed at the creation, on the initiative of one or more companies, the maximum total number of which cannot exceed five, of tourism development programs referred to in Article 7 of the Ministerial Decree of 9 December 2014 and subsequent amendments. .ii.. As part of the aforementioned development programs, the instrument can also finance infrastructural works within the limits set by the implementation legislation. The minimum investment required is 20 million euros which is reduced to 7.5 million euros if these programs include interventions to be carried out in the internal areas of the country or the recovery and redevelopment of abandoned building structures. The tourist activity development program must concern an entrepreneurial initiative aimed at developing the tourist offer through the strengthening and improvement of the quality of the accommodation offer and, possibly, of the supplementary activities, of the support services for the use of the tourist product and , for an amount not exceeding 20 percent of the total investments to be made, of the commercial activities, for the realization of which one or more investment projects are necessary, and, possibly, organizational innovation or process innovation projects, strictly connected and functional to a better use of the tourist product and the characterization of the reference territory. This development program, if carried out by multiple companies, must be carried out in neighboring municipalities or belonging to a single tourist district.
Who is it aimed at?
Companies of any size that intend to make large investments in the tourism sector. The tourism activity development program can be implemented jointly, without prejudice to a total number of participating companies not exceeding five, also through the use of the network contract instrument.
What does it predict
Granting of financial benefits in the following forms, also in combination with each other: • subsidized financing; • interest contribution; • plant contribution; • direct contribution to expenditure. The use of the various forms of facilitation and their combination are defined in the negotiation phase on the basis of the characteristics of the projects and the related areas of intervention.
