Initiative aimed at promoting investments in low-carbon airside vehicles. The project provides for financing in favor of certified airport management companies and handlers, operating in regional airports, who replace owned and/or leased vehicles, powered by endothermic engines, with electric traction vehicles.
Who is it aimed at?
The financing is aimed at management companies and certified airport handlers, operating in regional airports. The loan can also be granted to airport managers for the purchase of electric vehicles intended for assistance services to disabled people and people with reduced mobility (PRM) pursuant to EC Regulation no. 1107/2006.
What does it predict
The contribution is granted in terms of investment aid for the purchase of ownership or financial leasing of one or more new electric-powered airside vehicles to be used for ground assistance services at the airport or for other services carried out by the airport manager inair-side. The contribution can be granted to the airport manager for electric traction vehicles intended for assistance services to passengers with reduced mobility. The loan is also granted for the construction of charging systems for electric vehicles, provided that it takes place on a date subsequent to the date of submission of the application for the granting of the contribution.
