CHANGES – CULTURE HERITAGE ACTIVE INNOVATION FOR NEXT-GEN SUSTAINABLE SOCIETY” (hereinafter also CHANGES) is one of the 14 Extended Partnerships selected by the Ministry of University and Research (hereinafter also MUR) as part of the public notice issued by Decree Directory no. 341 of 15 March 2022 for the presentation of intervention proposals for the creation of "Partnerships extended to universities, research centers and companies for the financing of basic research projects" as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Mission 4 “Education and research” – Component 2 “From research to business” – Investment 1.3, financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU.

Who is it aimed at?

This Call finances Collaborative Research and Development Projects, i.e. carried out in "effective collaboration". The following subjects in partnership between at least one company and a research organization can request the benefits referred to in this Notice: - Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (hereinafter also MSMEs) - Large Enterprises (hereinafter also GI); - state universities and research organisations, public and private, supervised and not supervised by the MUR and not already affiliated to the CHANGES Extended Partnership

What does it predict

Interventions involving activities of: - Fundamental Research - Industrial Research - Experimental Development - Feasibility Studies are considered eligible. The overall financial allocation is allocated for an amount of no less than 61% to research activities to be carried out in the territory of one or more Regions of the Southern Italy – specifically Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily. The financing is provided in the form of a non-repayable contribution.
