Bari Artigiana is the initiative of the Municipality of Bari which supports the artistic and traditional craft activities of the metropolitan area of Bari interested in locating themselves in the Old City of Bari. With Bari Artigiana the Municipality of Bari intends to: - support the craft professions artistic and traditional; - encourage the protagonism of artistic and traditional artisans as a lever for economic, social, tourist and cultural promotion; - protect and enhance artistic and traditional craftsmanship as a typical element of the local historical and cultural heritage; - diversify and qualify the the commercial offer of the historic center to strengthen the tourist attractiveness of the ancient core of the city.
Who is it aimed at?
Micro and small artisan businesses referred to in articles 4 and 5 of Regional Law no. can present projects. 7 of 18.04.2023, in possession of the following requirements: - have registered office and/or operational headquarters in one of the Municipalities of the Metropolitan City of Bari; - be duly established, active and registered on the date of submission of the application in the Company Register kept by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture (CCIAA) of Bari; - be registered in the regional register of artisan businesses; - be operating in the sectors of artistic and traditional craftsmanship, as identified in the list attached to Regional Regulation no. .3 of 4 February 2015 (published in BURP no. 23 of 13.02.2015); - intend to open a fixed operational headquarters (owned or rented or on loan) in the Old City of Bari in commercial premises on the ground floor, open to the public and with direct access and overlooking the street. The above-mentioned artisan businesses, in possession of all the requirements listed above, which intend to establish - for the purposes of the notice - a new consortium or consortium company, even in cooperative form, can also present projects in aggregate form.
What does it predict
Bari Artigiana supports artisan businesses with non-repayable contributions of up to 60,000 euros for the opening and management of workshops, laboratories, showrooms and/or spaces for exhibition and sales in the Old City of Bari. For Old City of Bari means the area inside the following streets: - Corso Vittorio Emanuele; - Piazza Massari; - Piazza Isabella d'Aragona; - Corso Senatore Antonio De Tullio; - Lungomare Imperatore Augusto; - Piazza IV Novembre. In exchange, the artisan businesses benefiting from the contribution undertake to carry out activities, initiatives, events and/or services to promote artistic and traditional craftsmanship for citizens and tourists. The proposals may concern one or more of the following areas of intervention: - adaptation, renovation, refunctionalisation and layout of the premises; - digitalisation; - environmental sustainability; - accessibility; - safety; - marketing and promotion; - training. Each project must contain a set of activities, initiatives, events and services: - free; - which promote artistic and traditional craftsmanship towards citizens and tourists; - useful for improving the liveability and experience of using the Old Town of Bari .
