The Bicycle Tourism - Strengthening of accommodation services for the development of cycle tourism tender promotes cycle tourism in the Bim Tronto area, through support for the development of related accommodation products and services. Among the main objectives of the initiative is also that of bridging the discrepancy between the rich territorial offer of cycle tourism infrastructures and the availability of bike-friendly accommodation facilities. The call aims to give boost and visibility to the Bike Economy sector, supporting, at various levels, innovative projects capable of offering new opportunities for the many connected entrepreneurial chains and for the territory.
Who is it aimed at?
It is aimed at tourism entrepreneurs, specifically at companies in the Bim Tronto area registered in the Business Register and active and with primary or secondary ATECO code 55 - "Hotels and similar structures".
What does it predict
The call provides for direct support to businesses and operators in the tourism supply chain and intends to encourage the development and promotion of accommodation products and services to be connected to the numerous cycle tourism infrastructures in the area. The intervention involves the assignment of non-repayable contributions to companies that build or upgrade bike-friendly hotels and accommodation facilities. These structures will be able to encourage the development of business linked to cycle tourism and the opportunities offered by the bike economy. The benefit consists in the granting of a non-repayable contribution of up to 80% of the expenditure deemed eligible up to a maximum limit of €15,000.00. The projects must include a minimum investment of €3,000.00.
