The call, promoted by the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce, provides for direct contributions to the organization of one or more events of a congressional nature (congresses, conferences, seminars, workshops, competitions), religious events (events of any nature on the occasion of particular holidays or religious anniversaries at attractions such as the Sanctuary of San Francesco di Paola) or sports (both relating to amateur and professional competitions of any nature).
Who is it aimed at?
The announcement is aimed at professional associations supervised by the Ministry of Justice or associations which, despite having provincial or regional jurisdiction, are subordinate to associations operating at a national level.
What does it predict
The benefit consists in the assignment of non-repayable contributions amounting to 50% of the budgeted expenditure. The events/events that can be financed must have the following characteristics: a) novelty, in the sense that they must not be replicas or further editions of events already held in previous years or which are in any way attributable to past events that are the same or of a similar nature, in capable of attracting new categories of potential visitors and intercepting new tourist flows, and of innovation, in the sense that they will have to favor the use of new technologies and/or web and social applications, capable of increasing visibility and use.b) implemented in Province of Cosenza; c) of such duration as to induce participants to spend at least one overnight stay in the accommodation facilities of the province of Cosenza; d) with a minimum number of participants required equal to 50; e) which include a press conference to present the event at the Chamber of Commerce; f) which ensure adequate visibility of Chamber co-financing in communication campaigns and advertising material used to promote the initiative.
